A good word on ministry by brother Tim Conway on this clip. I’ve been saying for a few years now, that when Paul says he has given us Pastors etc to equip the Saints, to do the work of the ministry, it doesn’t mean that everyone is supposed to be a pulpit or street preacher/evangelist, like some claim, but that when you read on, you find that the ministry is in their daily lives, slaves to masters, wives to husbands, etc.
So often Christians think “I’ve got to have a ministry”, but do you know what ministry means? It means to serve. All of our “ministries” are about serving. It’s not necessarily about an official capacity, it’s about humbly serving others for their sake, not your own.
