“It has been said that because of the greatness of God’s love no man can perish everlastingly. That is a contradiction of the plain teaching of Scripture. It has also been said that the salvation of believers is a revelation of God’s love, and the damnation of unbelievers a manifastion of God’s justice. That is true enough, but it is not the whole truth. The unbeliever spurns the love of God. If this love were small, it would be a small sin to ignore it. But the fact is that this love is infinite. That makes the spurning of it a sin of infinite proportions. Precisely because the love of God is as great as it is, the unbeliever must suffer eternal punishment.
‘Whosoever’ believes on the Son of God will be saved – he whose sins are as scarlet or crimson (Isa. 1:18) as as he whose sins are relatively less fragrant; the murderer, the kidnapper, and the prostitute as well as the respectable citizen. None of these can be saved without faith in the Christ. All alike will be saved if they will believe on Him. Boundless love!” -R.B. Kuiper
